The Chicago State University drop-out announced last month that he wants to take time off from his music career to follow in the foot steps of Sean Avery. Kanye told the associated press that he would like to intern at a fashion house, preferably Louis Vuitton or Raf Simons. Mr. West is no stranger to fashion and forward thinking, his blog (www.kanyeuniversecity.com/blog/) has become a window into the future as his readership made up of numerous high profile designers, architects, and industry people continues to grow. Though often out spoken and abrasive one cannot deny his entrepeneurial spirit and dedication to his growing empire. The Chi-Town native founded his own clothing line, Past Tell Clothing (Pastelle Clothing), with the first store set to open in Chicago in early 2009. Other projects include the Kanye West Foundation, G.O.O.D. Record Label (Getting Out Our Dreams), and a small commonwealth of Fatburgers in Chicago.
