First up, the Alife 2008 Wall/Winter "Ball Out" New Era fitted. A follow up to the Alife x Reebok sneaker collaboration from last year. The hat is still available at Alife Flagship stores.
Second we have the Hundreds x Hall of Fame collaboration "Adam Bomb Flipped". The collaboration was a 200 piece run that was released at Hall of Fame in LA and the Hundreds SF.
In my mind the Hundreds RSWD is alway an anticipated and highly sought after piece. In Fall 2007 we were interduced to the hat in the Oakland A's colorway and then in April it was released in the Pittsburgh Pirates colorway and in October we got this gem. Good luck getting your hands on this piece...
One of my personal favourites to date is the much anticipated Doughboy fitted released by Benny Gold. The hat was inspired by Ice Cube's character from the John Singleton classic Boyz n the Hood. If you hurry you may still be able to pick up this classic.
The final selection for best of '08 is a piece I probably would never wear but may be the most innovative and detailed hat that we have seen in a while. The Reason "Python" fitted went no detail over looked. From the glow in the dark features to a catchy allover print on black leather. Honorable mention: Yankees x Virginia Tech New Era
