Final Stop on the Fantasies Run Deep Tour: DC SOHO

The Rob Dyrdek faithful were out in full force today for the final stop on the 'Fantasies Run Deep Tour' in SOHO, NY. The line, as expected, flooded the Spring St block spilling over onto Greene St.

The Rogue Status co-owner was on a ten stop tour promoting his new film 'Street Dreams'. Street Dreams was written by Rob as well as Elisa Delson (One Tree Hill/Everwood) and Nino Scalia (Team Ice Cream Vol. 1) and focuses on main character Derrick Cabrera, who like all skateboarders, dreams of being sponsored one day. He has all the talent in the world to make it happen but some major roadblocks to overcome before he can make the dream a reality. He is receiving pressure from all sides, his parents are stressing him because he is failing in school, his girlfriend thinks he is a loser, his best friend has become his rival because he is better than him. Things come to a head after Derrick gets arrested and a fight ensues with his father resulting in him running away from home. He does the only thing he knows how to do and opts to follow his dream to the Tampa Am contest, one of the only ways an unknown skater can get noticed.  . The tour, according to DC public relations representative, Cristina Kown has been very well received as the buzz surrounding Monday's Hollywood Premiere grows.

Rob, as you would imagine, was extremely down to earth and interactive with his fans. Posing for well over 200 pictures and signing everything from a dogs bandana to a ladies photoshopped 'family portrait' (including her, Rob and Meaty).
The film features some of the biggest names in skateboarding including Paul Rodriguez, Rob Dyrdek, Ryan Sheckler, Terry Kennedy as well as Ryan Dunn. Street Dreams hits select theatres June 12th (LA/OC/San Diego/Phoenix/San Francisco) and June 19th (Houston/Atlanta/Lexington/Virginia Beach/New York/Tampa).

Check out the StreetDreamsMovie.com for listing information. Congratulations Rob on the movie and good luck with future endeavors and if Rogue needs another partner....thanks for your time Cristina.
