Self Edge New York

It's official. San Francisco specialty denim retailer, Self Edge, will be opening a retail location on July 24 in the Lower East Side. The exact location will be 157 Orchard just North of Rivington between Reed Space and BBlessings and across from Shut Skateboards.

Self Edge has "gone to great lengths to find the world's finest denim; whether it be Selvedge lines made of metallic pink silk, rivets made from sterling silver, or poisonous python skin tags from Okinawa".

Self Edge owner, Kiya Babzani, will be stocking the same product line (Flat Head, Mister Freedom, Real Japan Blues and 3sixteen) with the addition of Joey McCoy's and Ande Whall. Kiya Babzani also revealed that he will be partnering with 3sixteen owners Andrew Chen and Johan Lam for the business venture (finally get to get that little secret off my chest). Self Edge already has an overwhelming following of denim heads as the retail giant consistently meets Japaneses selvedge denim needs worldwide. The space itself is about 25% larger then the current SESF space but will carry common themes and decor.

The 157 Orchard location will also be home to the new 3sixteen offices and Chapter and Verse Showroom. The spot will also feature the 3sixteen collection in its entirety.
