Trade Show Season Las Vegas | Footwear Highlights

Between Capsule, Magic, S.L.A.T.E. and Project there seemed to be a vast amount of footwear. Among those showing were Supra, Clae, Creative Recs, K-Swiss, Pointer, Nike Sportswear, Pro Keds, Reebok among others. Of all those showing there were three pairs that stood out.

1) A step away from typical over branded footwear (which I still enjoy) the 2010 Alife Naval features both a laceless and laced version with a corked footbed with a large dip-dyed red heel. Laceless comes in white and black leather and the leather lace up comes in houndstooth. Will arrive this spring.

2) The Hundreds Johnson Low Spring 2010 is coming in a variation of perforated leathers including green, aqua, red and black all with black accents and gum rubber outsole.

3) Last but not least is the Puma...yes Puma...Motus Chukka by Hussein Chalayan as a part of the Urban Mobility Collection. The collection focuses on lightweight and packable footwear that maintains high production standards and evenly matched aesthetics.
