Arrested Once Again

Shepard is no stranger to run ins with the law. Fairey was arrested back on August 25, 2008 in Denver for "interference with police authority and posting unauthorized posters". Looks like he likes the meals in jail or else it's his way of escaping the spotlight for a minute.

Shepard was arrested in Boston last night en route to a party at The Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art, which is currently hosting his solo show, "Supply and Demand". Apparently there were two warrants out for Shepard arrest for "tagging property in two locations with graffiti based on the Andre the Giant street art campaign from his early career". It seems the Obey Giant only spent a few hours in jail and made his opening reception for "Supply and Demand".
