Over the past year or so I have kept in touch with, 26 year old Bronx artist, Jai Cruz. Pretty much just the odd email every few months since I commissioned my Yankees cap. This kid is an extremely talent artist.
I spoke with Jai through email this week about a potential art show that I will be putting on in mid 2009 take is slated to take place in Winnipeg. I can't give too much away at this time but Jai has graciously agreed to partake and seemed very excited about the opportunity and cause. I was honored when he sent over this picture of a recent shoe customization he has been working on as we have really only seen his talent transmitted on fitteds. A preview of things to come.
